Vera Yefremova is a teacher with over half a century of experience and an outstanding expert in teaching Estonian and Russian.
🎯 Course Goal
To improve Estonian language skills and develop writing, reading, listening, and speaking. The course also motivates students to communicate in Estonian, use it in different real-life situations, and get familiar with local traditions and culture.
📚 Course Content
Preparation for the state Estonian language exam at A2–B2 levels. During the course, all language skills are developed: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Special attention is given to oral communication and the use of different learning resources. Grammar is studied in parallel with practice, with the main focus on communicative skills through active learning methods.
Before enrollment, a placement test is conducted to assign participants to the appropriate group.

After completing the course, the student:
- understands and uses everyday expressions and very basic phrases;
- can introduce themselves, familiar people, and things, and indicate where they live;
- can communicate simply if the interlocutor speaks slowly and clearly.

After completing the course, the student:
- understands short sentences and expressions from everyday life;
- answers simple questions and follows basic instructions;
